Ok, my friend has a 1997 HP 7200 (I think) series p166 with a tiny 2.0g HD. He wants to get a new HD since he only has 800kb of disk space free. The new HD hes looking at is a Western Digital 15.5g HD. My question: Is this harddrive (or any for that matter) compatible with his old HP. I ask this because I know that old compaqs required *compaq* HDs provided by compaq (at least this is what the guys at Best Buys told my parents...) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
