Hmmm, I've been running a TNT2 with my K6-2 for many months without any major problems. Performance is nothing to complain about either. But enough about me... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Anyways, I believe the newest nVidia drivers address' whatever hiccup the Athlon/GeForce combo were experiencing.

I'll never forget the time I tried to pair a TNT with my AMD K6-2 333Mhz...blue screens, poor video performance, and random crashes...

I ran back to the store and asked to exchange it for a voodoo3 2000 that very same afternoon...

So to avoid a similar scenario, I'm just wondering if I should wait a month or two, and get an Athlon and pair it with a GeForce, or maybe keep using my voodoo3 with the Athlon until voodoo4/5 comes out...

Please let me know what you think...thanks all...

NVIDIA just released new geFORCE drivers specificly for the Athlon so I don't think compatability will be a problem. Athlon and a geFORCE card I must say I'm a little jealous. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

I got a chance to run some applications on an Athlon 600 system, it was using a TNT2 Ultra without any problems.
