Well I just been on to local Telcom to complain and get check done on local copper wire, come back line interferance 66Db, 60Db is given as max for voice only as for net or fax you got more chance of making ice cream in hell http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif( just I thought if you could you would make a fortune http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif)
so until they fix it I am stuck with about 150bytes/sec http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif, with a V90 modem, no way to post much at that speed, most of the servers reset on you,
can't blame em either. See you all when its fixed.

Just wanted to add, HP key board , length of cricket pitch stump to stump (22 yards) no problem going for greater distance next time http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Telcom just phoned back they are sending line man out 2.pm Sunday to start on fix for line problem http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif so it might only be a couple of days.

Don't worry so much about that. My telephone line has a max speed of 33.6kbps. Really, I don't need a 56kbps modem.
