Only half my speakers work

I bought a new speaker/subwoofer system for my computer a few weeks ago. The other night I noticed on the 2 smaller speakers work. The front 2 have a buzzing sound if I hold them up to my ear but no sound at all. The power button on the right front as well as the mute, bass, treble and volume knobs, buttons

I have an Altec Lansing ACS-56 speaker system and a Turtle Beach Montegou II sound card. I went into control panel>multimedia and changed the settings to dekstop stereo and almost everythign else to try it to work but nothing but a slight buzzing

Is your new speaker system a 4 satellite plus sub? If so make sure you have 4 speaker enabled for your sound card. Recheck all your connections to make sure your using the speaker out jacks not the mic/line in jacks.
