Can memory be mixed, Say you have a chip made by Mitsubushi specs, pc100 running at 100ns + one generic pc100 teckworld running at 60 ns . What should be the result?
ps the mitsubushi is the older chip and both are 64m which should give me 128mb.

with sdram chips yes you can mix them
it should not couse a problem unless your trying to run a 66mhz chip at 100mhz fsb
you can run pc-100 at 66mhz and some pc-66 will do 100 mhz but not all
and you might have to change some setting for memery timeing in the bios the best option is to set it to auto if every thing works ok then try speedig the timing up
hope that helps you out http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
