Hey folks..

Im wondering, can you manually hack your registry to add tone controls to a sound card who's built in drivers donr support it? I know I did this with my ensoniq and it worked. The card is a cheapie Asound Express PCI. Thanks! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Changing the registry values is the only way to make the bass and treble avaible for my SBPCI128.

The key is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Class\MEDIA

Check carefully the options there should or you must add it (don't know if it gona work for you) a key named: "Enable Tone Controls"

on my card is at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Class\MEDIA\0001\Config

Check yours and see what you get.

Hey Pantion http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

No such luck, I must have drivers from hell. No tome control options at all, I was hoping for something anything, to right click and change the value to 1... that even resembled tone controls. this stinks. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Oh well...
Any other advice? Thanks http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
