Trying to get a bit more bandwidth with the option's i have available and decided to go with modem teaming.
ie 2 modem's on the one comp.
I've set up the hardware side of things and both modems connect to my isp quite happily but only one modem is ever used at a time.

Anyone know how to make my computor use both lines for data transfer?

What OS are you using? What brands of modems? are you sure your ISP supports conncurrent dialups? what "teaming" software are you using?

ps. I do this but use Diamond supra modems with Diamond's shotgun technology

Running windows 98 using a Diamond supra 556i V+ internal and a Mastro 33.6 external. (analoge exchange so i can't get past 33.6 anyway.)

I've contacted my ISP and they enabled multiple dialups for me.
Not using any "teaming" software at the moment. I'm guessing i need this if so any suggestions?

I did try the diamond shotgun program but i couldn't get it to list "shotgun" as a selectable device when i went to create a new connection. The diamond shotgun manuel says it requires W95.

If you check in your property's your dialup connection you should also see a tab called MULTILINK you can choose to ADD ADDITIONAL devices and then try your software again.
