I get there sales update e-mail on specials. and if they avertize something for a price. do they have to give it to you at that price. or can they just say they made a mistake. and you lose out. I save a picture of the e-mail ad and there web site. and they still tell. that they didn't put it there at that price. what do you think. here is the e-mail and the web site.

I think you all should honor your ads. and not try to bait and switch people like this. If you are going to show a product for sale at a price. and than a #1 company like you. try to screw the little man out of it. that dosen;t say much for your business. I don't have very much faith in you now at all. because if I or my on-line friends. bought a product from you. you might not even be trusted to send us the right product. I hope you don't mind. if I tell the web about the way you do business. and I know you won't answer this e-mail. because you won't even stand behind your e-mails sales. this is a prime example of on-line companies. baiting and switching costumers. no wonder they get a bad name. and I have heard all these good things about you all. and now you turn into a company like this. I feel sorry for you.

I'm going to forget that you did that. you are a new member here and you don't know me. and I relize you were only trying to help. but, "DON"T" you ever go behind my back and do something with one of my wholesellers again. I have very good "OUTSTANDING" working relationship with these people. and I was just trying to make a point. I'll write them another e-mail and explain to them. that you didn't know what you were doing. and will e-mail them a copy of this post. so, a few words of wisdom.
1. don't ever try to do my business for me
2. don't ever edit one of my post
3. and don't ever click on a link in one of my post that pretain to only me.
4. I know not to ever put in a link or anything else to do with my business. cause some will mess with it.
5. if someone does want to stick there nose in my business. e-mail me first. and this can be avoided.
6. you might want to read this. http://www.uslawbooks.com/books/forgery.htm
so, now that is over with. we can go on about our business. And I'll pretend this never happened.

I'll have to think it over. before I responded to the replies. But, I like your outlook XT. I have copied your e-mail down. and am glad you feel like that. Now I can use your e-mail to respond with. when I want to do something. you are my kinda guy. thanks
In British Law, advertisers just tack the phrase "Errors and Ommissions Excepted" onto absolutely anything that has a price.
This means people could advertise a PIII 450 at £5 with EOE at the bottom and just say it's a mistake when they get 50,000 orders.
This happened recently when a well-known high street store advertised a 21" TV on their website for something like £3.33 instead of £333. They worked out something was wrong when the web server went down because of the demand, and refused to honour any of the deals, saying it was a typo and that the customers were stupid and greedy and should have realised that.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a similar get-out clause in US federal or state laws.

Daddy Goose, before I make a comment on this. please explain this to me. what is this saying. I'm lost.

Maybe everybody should re-read what they're
posting and try to look at your post from someone else's point of veiw. If the site says "Mother board" $45.00 and they put it on the net they should be held accountable, the same way we post our messages. At least here
if you say something you don't really mean
or it just doesn't sound right, you can edit it. All I'm trying to say is just be cool and let's get along! We have the best forum on the net with, I feel, the best folks going!
Really top notch people runin' the show, a
GREAT moderator, like I've said in the past..
" What more could you want"
Peace,

On just about every legit shopping site I've been to, somewhere there has been a dislaimer basically stating, we're not responsible if we type a price wrong on here.
Maybe they should do the same for their emails.
