I'm considering buying a PCI64 sound card. Does it come standard with 4 speaker output and has anyone had any troubles/success with it? Primarily i like it for the price and that it has 4 speaker output. Thanx.

You can get MX300 for $60; the BlasterLive Value for $55 or the Blaster PCI 512 3D for $65 now. All with multi speaker support.

Don't know what the PCI64 is but the PCI128 is $30.

Absolutely the best place to buy -Fantastic!

For a few more bucks get a SBLive/Value! I own
both cards, Value has 4 speaker outputs & aux
input. With PCI64 you have to trade off aux input
for the back speaker outputs...ie it's same jack.

It is a good card with so litle money. I have trouble with motherboard and sb64 in dos. Because my mobo don`t have intel chipset I have SiS.Mobo was 5SIM. After I change my Mobo is all ok(now is TD98-3d). Sb64 don`t run in dos with some mobo-s. With newest drivers you can change Bass and Treble
Bass is realy good. 4 speaker support is only in windows with direct sound or EAX. If you don`t have 4 speaker system you don`t hear very loud voice into rear speakers. If you mobo is ok, then install is very easy
