I have an NT4 Server box with a really wierd problem. When I log in as administrator, everything is fine, it will print from anything. When we log in as anyone else, we can print out of anything but IE 5.5. We get this script error that says

"An errror has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 220

Char:1

Error: Automation server can't create object

Code: 0

URL: res://C:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

It will print out of anything else, and the everyone group has full access to the printers, so I'm sure its not a permissions issue. It gives me the error printing to two printers, so it's not a printer issue. I am stumped.

Had similiar problem. Did you try uninstalling IE5.5 and reinstalling? Worked for me.

If it was an IE thing, wouldn't it affect all users? It only seems to affect one user.

They came out with a service pack for IE5.5 didn't they? Check here and see if that helps. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.htm
