Hello,
I have just jumped into the world of Linux. Mandrake 6.1 to be precise. The problem is though (well one of them) that my graphics card was not supported by the lateast XFree86 release. I knew this and thought it wasn't going to be a problem cos i found that SuSe had released a XFCom_Rage128 which should work. Only problem is i can only down load the TGZ format of the file and when i tried to install it last night it just wouldn't work. So today i tried the RPM file but their links are down. Two things then does anyone have the RPM file that they could send me or could someone give me some advise on how to install them from the TGZ file. Which by the way didn't like to be unzipped in linux i had to do it in windows and then copy the files to the relevant places.
Hope this all makes sense it is tricky to explain things properly when you are using an OS that is completely new.
cheers
