Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : What settings do I have to change to boot up without Win98 logo? Ilya_S_K 10-31-2000, 10:05 PM to reduce bootup time. Sterling_Aug 11-01-2000, 04:17 AM Press esc when the boot logo screen appears. ThiemeMD 11-01-2000, 04:24 AM Edit your MSDOS.SYS file. You will first have to remove the "read only" attribute. In the [OPTIONS] section add LOGO=0 You might also want to add BootDelay=0 . This will remove the 2-3 second pause when it says "Starting Windows 98". If you ever need to hit F8 after this patch to get into the boot options screen, You'll have to time it perfectly! Good Luck!
