dvd-cdrw setup

I am trying to set up DVD on IDE 1 (as my drives are connected through a controller card) and my CDRW on IDE 2, both set as master.

Is this set up alright does anyone know or am I better off running them both through IDE 2 as master slave ?????

Just a thought where's your hard disk in all this.

my one sys is set up as
IDE 1 hard disk master
IDE 1 Zip disk slave
IDE 2 44X CD Rom Master
IDE 2 CDWR slave
manual sead I should run CDWR as master but it seem to work that way round fine on the sys concerned.
