That makes 288mb , my motherboard supports 768mbs. What point is not worth adding memory? Memory is very cheap now on E-bay.

From what I have heard, there won't be much of an increase in speed (if any) because windows doesn't efficiently utilize memory above 128 - there will be an increase, just not much. Do you do heavy graphics/video editing work? It might be good to get the RAM if so.

What will it do? Well about the only thing it will do is lighten up your wallet.

128 Meg is plenty for most people and most applications. 256 Meg is great if your system is a server or a graphics workstation.

they are correct..I have 512 in mine because I have it not because I need it and I see no difference from 128 and above except when using Photoshop or Alice, Pagemaker or any-other Graphics program..thats where you will be happy to have the extra memory

once you hit the send button wait 15 min and dont hit button again, till you can till About weather or not it went though thats why everone is post the same thing two or three times! Maybe 64mb might be a good idea, but 128 almost cost the same?

you should be fine with the 160mb's so dont waste your money but then again memory is down once more and sure to go right back up so NOW is the time to buy memory

no big speed increase, but it will be nice if you like to open a lot of programs at once. i have 384 megs of ram in my gaming machine and i like the fact that i can open up as many programs as i want not have it slow down. going from 128 to 192 and beyond increased my stability drastically as well. i leave my system on for 5 days or more and never have issues...with the prices i would say buy as much memory as you can afford to get.
