This site is one of the better ones. Large amount of talent here. Ask away http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif

But if you really insist, use your search engine. Theres hundreds of tech sites.

There is no better forum than this one!
If you have a computer related problem and you can't get it solved here, you might just as well give up. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

There are others, but SysOpt is definitely at the top of the heap. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Ah Ha...selecting the wrong page from the history drop down list resulted in a double post. It re-sent the page 18 minutes after the original message was posted, I didn't know that could happen! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

I don't really go to other forums as there is more here for me than I can digest but I have found that:

ArsTechnica is a good but not family oriented forum
Host Club is really good but not as active
Anandtech is good for selling and buying
HardOCP is great for up to the minute (and normally non-news worthy) news especially about reviews and under the covers news.

Dave

(HardOCP is the only other site I still go to regularly but about 10% of the amount of time that I spend here)

Why would anyone want to go to another discussion forum? This one is the best one I've seen.
By the way, why go to one forum to ask about others? Just me asking.

I agree with both Dave and Imperion.

I'd have to say this is the one of if not the best, for tech support. However, if you feel you must try other forum, the other good one have been posted. The other one IMHO aren't as technical as this one, just a lot of "junk." By have a try.

We will wait for you to see the light, and return for a better life of technical and emotional support. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Just tried to. After about a minute, got the ol The Page Cannot Be Displayed.
So was this supposed to be another good site?

I find the Australian version of Sysopt enlightening at times: http://61.8.3.18/cgi-bin/oc/ubb/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro
