why not just use windows built in back-up. and save it to the cd-rw drive. I have some info on this topic. I'll have to find it and get back with you on it.

Direct CD also works well as it mounts your CD-RW as a R/W drive and allows you to use Explorer to copy and paste

I've not used it myself but I hear Norton Ghost works with CD-RW and makes the backup/mirroring process effortless.

The stand alone program is kind of on the expensive side, around sixty dollars*, but if you’re planning on buy Norton System Works, buy the professional version and it comes with Norton Ghost and a decent rebate (I think it’s thirty dollars).

System Works Pro runs around ninety-nine dollars, though I’m sure you can find it online for less. That price happens to be about thirty dollars more than the regular version, even without the rebate your getting ghost for half the price that you would be paying for the stand-alone version.
