I finally got almost everything going but the fan on the heatsink will not run it came in a retail box with the processor I have tried plugging it in in the cpu fan spot and the pwr fan spot but it does not work is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there something in the bios to set to get it to run? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
i would say that the fan dont work or the mobofan power dont work try putting a diffrent fan on it

sounds like a poorly manufactured fan, maybe a bad bearing, if there was a setting in the bios it would be somewhat obvious...the way i see it you have two options...1 get a new fan, 2 try cutting the wires free of the connection, then splice the two positive leads together...then stick the wires into a harddrive or floppy power lead...black to black, positives in the yellow...never tried the latter of the two but it should work. Do you have another fan you could test the mobo power with?

Is there any way to test the power on the motherboard? Every thing else works perfect.

I would be more suspicious of the fan than the mobo.

I know that the fan works I checked it on another computer. Is there anybody familiar with the A7V motherboard? Could there be a jumper that is suppost to be on it and I'm not seeing? ANy help would be appreciated.
