I have recently upgraded from Windows 98se to windows me, and everytime I either shutdown or restart (via the start button), it automatically runs scandisk. It says it was a bad shutdown, or something along that line. If anyone is having a similar problem, or has an answer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I didn't find the problem, but I found a temporary solution. I just disabled "run scandisk at startup", in the MSConfig, at least now it doesn't run the scandisk everytime.

I DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO GO THAT ROUTE, BUT
I MAY TRY GOING UP OR DOWN A HAIR ON THE PRO-
CESSOR VOLTAGE. THAT WON'T BE FOR A WHILE THOUGH, SINCE IT'S MY OWN SYSTEM.

Hey guys...
Win Me doesn't do a good job with upgrading from win98 and you may run into more problems like that. What I would sugest is to just do clean install of Win Me. And it's worth it, it's so much better then Win98. The thing I couldn't bealive is that Win Me loaded drivers for all devices on my PC. Anyway, just do clean install and it'll be much better.
