Please help...
I have just installed the latest creative PC-DVD 12x Dxr3.
I can play DVD with audio when I dont use The PC-DVD player(the default software).
I have a Creative sound blaster 16 PCI sound card. I have changed the cable connection between the Dxr3 card, the dvd and my sound card but i still dont hear any sound when I play dvd's using the PC-DVD player.

My system is as follows:
K2 500 @500
TMC mobo
192Ram
Creative sound blaster 16PCI
Acer CDRW 8x4x32 slave
Creative PC-DVD 12x Dxr3 master
WD 10.2 hard drive as master running WinME
Maxtor 15.2 as slave running Linux Mandrake 7.1
ATI rage 128 graphics card

Any help is welcome

Thanks

Your DXR 3 card should have several types of connectors on the back of it, 2 of these are for audio, one of the connectors looks the same as connectors on your sound card, you will be able to plug speakers or headphones into this, the other is a coaxial rca connector which is used for connecting you DXR3 board to a Dolby Digital reciver or decoder (this is the option I choose) and depending how you have connected it you will have to make sure in the Audio Advanced Properties on the Play Centre you have selected either Analogue or SPDIF for digital out. You should also be able to connect your DXR3 board directly to your sound card board (I'm not sure about your model but I can on my soundblaster live).
