And not just deleted if they are multiple posts, or someone asks for it to be deleted?

Jim socalgal 11-27-1999, 10:54 PM Hi Jim When there are multiple posts in different forums, I think it's more helpful to refer the replier(s) with a link to the active thread. If someone is reading a locked thread in one forum, they can just link from that closed thread to the active thread in the other forum to reply. Makes it easier than searching for it. Also, I hopefully try to get the message across that multiple posting is discouraged, so posting a note onto a locked thread will get read. Don't you always look to see why a thread is locked? /forum/wink.gif If it's obvious (and it usually is) that a thread or post was submitted in error twice due to a double-submit hit or BBS error, then I will try to delete the second thread/post so as to avoid confusion/duplicates. If the original poster asks that his/her thread be closed, we will usually do it. A thread or post won't be deleted unless that it's a more serious matter which has been approved by SysOpt which has been taken under serious consideration by Admins. Hope this answers your question. /forum/smile.gif [This message has been edited by socalgal (edited 11-27-1999).] pickel 11-27-1999, 11:13 PM Socalgal: you gotta spell it out for those Navy guys, don't ya!!!
