Attach it to the cable after the twist. A: = twist, B: = no twist.

How about if I wanted to change my hard drive, floppy dirve, etc. to a different dirve letter, such as A:\ to P:\ how would I do that?

Hard drive letters are automatically assigned by BIOS. C: is primary partition on the 1st HD, D: is either a 2nd partition on the 1st HD or the primary partition on the 2nd HD. The order it usually works is primary partitions on all drives first, then all other partitions on 1st HD, then all other partitions on 2nd HD, etc. There is only one way to make an exeption that I know of. If your 2nd HD has no primary partion, but has other partitions, they will all come after the 1st HDs partitions.

Removable drives (CD, CVD, Zip, Jaz, etc.) can be assigned letters manually in the Device Manager in Windows.

You should be able to change the drive letter for your floppy disk drive in the BIOS. You will have the option of A or B. I'm pretty sure your BIOS has this option. I haven't seen any of my mainboards without it. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
