Looks like a bad keyboard or keyboard interface on the mobo.

Check the keyboard plug to see if there are any bent or damaged pins. If not, make sure the keyboard plug is fully inserted. Also check to make sure there aren't any stuck keys. If all else fails and you have another keyboard, try it to see if the problem goes away.

Has anyone ever seen this error message before. KB/INTERFACE ERROR

I decided to take apart this old computer that worked fine to see if, I could put back in working order. Well I put it back together and it worked fine on first boot up but then next time it wouldn't make it past the post test. It goes through memory test fine and then i get this kb/interface error.
What did i do wrong?

AMD 5X86 with 16mgs of ram and 1.6gb HD

Just after i posted my message i noticed the light on keyboard was out and so i played with connector and wammmooooo. I feel kind of dumb on this but, I spent hours working on it.I guess that's how you learn. Again thanx to everyone
