This tool should interest Techs working on computer hardware.

Hi! Rush down to Radio Shack & grab one of these freebie Bar-Code scanners that hooks into your keyboard line. Called "Cat:Cue" a tech told me you can scan hardware and it delivers you to the manufactures website. It uses and scans the new tech. slanted bar codes also! Pretty cool tool (about $20-25. tool!) with a CD program & instructions.
Radio Shack Cue:Cat FREE!!

I am not affiliated, just giving back for all the help I have got here in the past ;-) The store clerk says they start selling them next month, so hurry & get while free, or while they last.

Got mine in the mail today from Wired magazine - They're giving them to all their subscribers. Haven't installed it yet though.

It Also comes with a device that you hook to your TV that sends signals to your PC (through the mic input on your sound card!) that will automatically take you to sites related to whatever you're watching on TV.

It looks very cool, but it's free and I haven't found their privacy policy yet - kinda screams spyware to me. I'm sure they'll be collecting some pretty serious demographic info about their users....

Still looks like "Spyware" to me.
