Got on line this morning, installed System
Works 2000 and downloading updates now. Get her started safe and sound. Only 77 errors
when I ran System Docter. Not even computers are born perfect. Seems like it's gonna be a
good one. Just glad I was able to get her one. Now I have mine all to MYSELF!!!! /forum/biggrin.gif

Congrats pickel! /forum/smile.gif

Does System Works just report errors or does it allow you to view/fix them also? Haven't used that program.

Socalgal: It's the easiest and best retail software anywhere!! Fixes most errors automatically, fixes bad sectors on the Hdd,
Scans and fixes registry problems, optimizes,
and defrags Hdd. and much more. On sale this week at Comp USA for $39.95 Also got a Philips 4x4x32CR-RW for $129.95 on sale. ED_s said that for basic backups and most useage the inexpensive was basically as good as the top dogs. It was $181 plus shipping on PriceWatch, so I think I got a good deal. Just have to figure out how to install it /forum/frown.gif. Don't know much about the master/slave thing. But I'll survive(hope my computer does) Will have some phots and cassete coming your way soon. Ya'll will have to check it out! Later
