Came across an 8 meg PCI video card. I want to install it in my system.

128 meg sdram
viper 770 ultra 32 meg
dvd
8 gig HD
440bx MB

can I run two video cards in my system?
Reason I want the PCI card: it has video in and out etc etc. Which the AGP doesn't.

You "may" be able to run it in the PCI slot next to the AGP, I ahve heard rumor to that effect - but I was under the impression that this would only allow you to run the same video output to a different monitor. As for the advanced features of the card, I don't know if those will work. IMHO, you may be asking for trouble, resource conflicts and such.

yes you can run 2 video cards under windows 98 go in to the help files of win98 and look up dual moniter's it will tell you haow to do it
the pci will be the defalt main moniter though, unless your bios has a vga boot up pci/agp selection
you do not have to have 2 moniters to do this if you have the vga pci/agp selection in your bios you can switch it back and forth and just switch the moniter back and forth from card to card when needed
hope that helps
