After a fine Thanksgiving feast, we've just finished watching "It's a Wonderful Life".
Wiping a tear from my eye, I can't help but think this story stands for most basic but most important faccet of the human experience
Aside from anything else in our lives, our home, our car, even our families, without friends, real true and blue friends, going thru our daily existence would be more than lacking.Knowing if something happened and you were out there with nothing, no place or someone to turn to, must be a terrilbe, if not frightening way to be. Most of us are fortunate enough to have ,at least, one true friend, some have many. To me, next to counting our blessings and giving thanks to
our spiritual host, we need to reach out and
share the essence of the day to the ones who no matter what, are there, by your side, thru thick and thin.Friends don't always agree, sometimes they fuss at eachother, and again
can get really aggrivated. But when the chips are down and there's no where to turn, that one guy comes thru and carries the weight for a while til you can get rolling again.
Like the old saying goes " A friend in need is a friend in deed" You can bank on that.
Again, to all my friends at Sysopt's a warm
and wonderful Thanksgiving Day /forum/smile.gif
