friends are big gamers and are building new pc's. they also like to watch dvd so they need a card that does dvd well. yeah ati works well for dvd but isn't great for games. how about tnt2?

I probably go for the GeForce 256.

I got my self a Viper V770 TNT2 Ultra.It works great for DVD and games. If you want a video card that will last long go for the Geforce 256 DDR (available soon) or if you a cheaper card go for the tnt2/tnt2 ultra.

I have a viper 770 tnt2 ultra, and while it probably isn't as good or expensive as a geforce, it works extremely well for games and dvd playback is very smooth. It even came bundled with zoran dvd software.
