I don't know how to deal with EZ DRIVE, but I do know how to make it go away. Try a boot floppy and then "fdisk /mbr". If you can get to an A:/ prompt this way, try it and see what happens.

I'm a little unclear on what you are trying to do. Are you trying to boot DOS from a floppy to run Fdisk??
Do you have EZ-Bios installed?? If so, you need to use a special procedure to boot a floppy.

actually the FDISK /mbr trick probably will NOT work. Do you need ez-drive installed? and why?
If you don't need it, then for the love of God nuke that drive mangling ****.
Not that long ago I encountered the same problem you seem to be having. Look here: http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/006941.html

if you have the ez-bios floppy disk, try bootin up with it, if it works then you can use that program to remove ez bios...(you have to have that disk to remove ez-bios since it lives in the boot sector)once you get rid of ezbios you can start fresh. If you dont have the disk try downloading it from somewhere...i have a disk but im not sure if i have the same version...EZ DRIVE IS EVIL!!!!!!EVIL I TELL YOU !!!!!!!EVIL!!!!
