Need advice on cases... please help!!!

I am ordering my case for my new computer in a couple of days here. now my question is this. i have a desk with 21" of space for the case, but i'd very much prefer a case with 5*5 1/4's 1or2 external 3 1/2's and one or two internal 3 1/2's. I haven't been able to find one that is only 21" tall so if anybody has any suggestions i'd love to hear them. thanks

I have seen some with no HD bays and only 1 floppy bay with as many as 6 5.25 bays.

You could always make one... Why not?

Before I made my table into a computer. I screwed my mobo on a drawer. I drilled holes at the back for the wires. I fastened the power supply on another drawer, I had to extend the wires. I made sure there was proper ventilation, installed some fans, etc.

But it was 5 years ago, w/ a 486 DX4.

Try inquiring at the local shops if they will fabricate the frame for you. Make sure you paint it w/ light colors, preferably gray.
You can use plastic, or better yet wood, for the front panel.
And the best thing about the project, you are the designer...
