Just wondering what the service was like. Earthlink in my area has steadily gotten worse. It is not only slow, but unreliable now. Prodigy is no different and since Earthlink bought out Mindspring, they suck too. My options are getting slim. And no, I cannot get cable 'cause it's not available in my area.

My dad uses Juno. He isn't able to recieve any pictures I send him unless he buys the "Gold" package. In my opinion they suck, but I don't use Juno, so I'm not qualified to voice a personal opinion about them. What about your local phone company?

Well, I'm still looking. My phone company is the pits in my area also. Considering RCN also.

how about one of the freebies??

they all have thier good and bad points...good being that they are free...bad being the banners...freewwweb is free with no banners and connection is better than the isp I'm paying for...worth a look

Where are you located? I know there are so many choices these days but if you live rural you are screwed!

My aunt uses Juno for everything net related. She's new to the web. She says that they have good tech support and you can write them email or call them. She's happy with it. I've used it when over to her house and the speed she gets is better than I get from the u.

I have a couple of friends out in farm country that use Juno just for free email and they're happy with that.
