I would say www.c4.com (http://www.c4.com) is better, it searches google and many other search engines. I actually found it by accident, but I would say if you want a good search of all the engines it may take a little extra time then say yahoo.
Here is the list:
AltaVista
Excite
Hotbot
Google
Infoseek
Lycos
Magellan
Snap
Webcrawler
Yahoo!

I've heard of 'google' before, but I'll have to try it.
I'll try Zacko10000's too.
Currently I'm using www.alltheweb.com (http://www.alltheweb.com) but always looking for something better! /forum/smile.gif

I'll have to try google, but anything with c4 in it makes me fearful.(C4 is plastic explosive, btw) /forum/smile.gif

Its fast, faster than most serach engines. But Altavista from where I am in this world seems to be the fastest.

A couple of interesting ones - not necessarily the best (I use google, yahoo and dogpile mostly) - that try to categorise your results are http://www.ask.com and http://northernlight.com
Worth a look if your searches are returning 5000 hits

I like www.hotbot.com (http://www.hotbot.com) because of the lack of dead links.
