problems with installation NT Server 4.0 help!!

Hi!

I tried to installed NT-Server 4.0 this weekend on a P 200 with adaptec 2940 UW with 2,6 GB IBM SCSI Disc and 6x Teac SCSI CD-Rom.
I always got the failute-message:

"IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" (third times!)or
"KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"

so my handbook says it myght be a problem with a 3d party driver or a problem with diskcontrollers. I can install w95 or w98 on this machine without any problem!! I need the server soon because of my need to enclos one MAC into my home-network!!

I stalled NT-Server in my joB every week no problem!!

Which service pack are you currently using on your NT4 server? I would suggest that if your not running ATLEAST sp4 , Upgrade to that or sp5 (sp6 has recently been released but I have not used it) also download the newest drivers for NT for your adaptec scsi controller (you might have a bad driver or corrupted one)
