anyone know of a digital camera that accepts zip disks?

None that I currently know of, but I do like the idea. It would be a whole lot cheaper than compact flash memory. A good alternative would also be an LS-120meg floppy. Their are camera's that use regular 1.44 floppies, but that's not really anough space to deal with.

thats enough space, that is if you wanna change to a new floppy after each picture /forum/wink.gif

The problem with the floppy on the Sony cams is not so much space (25-40 pics per disk) it is speed. They need to drop enough RAM on the Camera to take several pictures in a row without having to wait for the disk each click.

They have upgraded the drives in the Sony's now to be 4X instead of the 2X of a year ago. This does speed it up a bit.
