RobRich 11-22-1999, 12:50 AM None that I currently know of, but I do like the idea. It would be a whole lot cheaper than compact flash memory. A good alternative would also be an LS-120meg floppy. Their are camera's that use regular 1.44 floppies, but that's not really anough space to deal with. chipbgt 11-22-1999, 01:06 AM thats enough space, that is if you wanna change to a new floppy after each picture /forum/wink.gif 800XL 11-22-1999, 10:14 AM The problem with the floppy on the Sony cams is not so much space (25-40 pics per disk) it is speed. They need to drop enough RAM on the Camera to take several pictures in a row without having to wait for the disk each click. daveleau 11-22-1999, 11:01 AM They have upgraded the drives in the Sony's now to be 4X instead of the 2X of a year ago. This does speed it up a bit. SysOpt.com
