Hi

I have been using the Cordless desktop solution form Logitech (wheel mouse and keyboard) for almost a year now. I had to replace the battery once for the mouse. The battery in the keyboard are still the same.

This is total freedom... no cables on your desk.
You want to lie back in your chair and take your keyboard on your lap ? no problem !
The technology is built on radio waves so it does not matter if the keyboard/mouse does not "see" the transmitter.

Go for it !

I've been using the same but without the wheel, I sometimes get a problem when gaming that the right arrow key seems to stick on, after dieing three or four times and punching the button it seems to clear.

Apart from that I'm on my second set of mouse and kb batteries, just over 9 months usage.

It's great if you stick your games through the TV.

I agree.....I dont care how cool ya think the optical mouse is, it still doesnt beat the total freedom of a cordless mouse....especially since this one is so reliable. I have only had mine for about 2 months but I love it. If only my cordless keyboard were this good! if you do get one though get the nice shiny black and silver mouseman cordless plus /forum/smile.gif

Logitech Cordless is great. Especially when you're breaking open your system... one or two less cables to deal with. And you can stand up to 6ft away in case the monitor blows up when ya boot up after your final tweak! /forum/frown.gif Think I paid $70.
