I'm an AOL member (leaving) and currently trying two other free ISP's (Altavista and Bluelight). After installing Bluelight I got a Terminating thread message "due to a stack overflow -A VxD,possibly recently installed, has consumed too much stack space. Increase the setting of "MinSP's in the System.ini or remove recently installed VxD. There are currently 4 SP's allowed"
Not a clue what to do. I can usually reboot a couple of times and start again. Can I change the setting for MinSP's? How? By the way, so far I like the Altavista!

Go to Start/ Run & type:
Sysedit
Click the System.ini tab on top. Scroll down to the [386Enh] section. Look for this entry:

MinSPs=4

If it's not there, add the above entry anywhere in the [386Enh] section. If it is & already shows 4, increase it to 8. The Windoz default is 2, despite what your error message said -- it'll always say 4 even if it's really 2. Typically, 4 should be enough unless there's some demanding program requiring more.
