150 kinda seems high for a tnt2 ultra considering that the geforce,savage2k, and voodoo4 are present or around the corner. at what price should I haggle towards.

yeah some have informed him that it is cheaper at buy.com and so he's bringing it down to 125. still a little pricey for 4months old. 175 core 200 memory speed.

Show up on his door step with 11 ten dollar bills fanned out (as many a hagler says..Money talks..BS walks!) and say this could be yours for the card /forum/smile.gif I personally wouldnt pay over $110 bucks knowing what is around the corner as you put it.

Hi
That seem very high to me, if I do a straigh 2 to1 convert that makes it at $300 NZD, I just been looking at one of my competitions price list and they have a 32MB Matrox G400 Dual head 360 MHz listed at$435NZD and as NZ prices can run at anything from double the price of you guys state side, I either nock him right down or have a darn good look else where.

I went and checked the "Best Data" at Fry's, while it was virtually identical to the Diamond Viper v770, the memory was slow 125mhz.

But the trip was not a total loss, I wound up buying a Voodoo Banshe PCI 16MB for $59 that works great in one of my other systems. At first OpenGL was nonexistant, but I downloaded the 3dfx reference drivers and now everything is cool.

Strange, I had an STB Velocity, Nvidia 128 8MB AGP (in yet another system)that was cheap at Fry's ($39) - and I also had to D\L new drivers for that one to have OpenGL - I guess in both cases the reason they were selling so cheap is that the OEM drivers were bad.

Anyway, the system with the Voodoo has never looked so good.
