Hello all, I just upgraded my computer from 32 mb to 64mb and I'm not seeing any real improvement. I am running a P-200 (non-MMX) on a shuttle 555 mobo. The first DIMM is a generic PC-100 8ns module but the second DIMM is a 10ns (I'm assuming pc-66) module.
I know that this drops my PC-100 down to 66 but my mobo only runs at 66 anyway. I am running Win 95 OSr2 and IE 4.01. Win98 SE was just to much. Well at bootup McAfee virusscan is loading and thats it. Even before I loaded Virusscan I did not see a noticeable improvement. Any suggestions. Also I have an EpOX MVp3g2 on order and 128 mb pc-133 dimm with it. When it comes I,ll be dropping an AMD k62 400 on it and would like to oclock to 450 maybe even try 500 if anyone has any suggestions or warning please let me know. I apologize for the length just wanted to make sure I covered it all. Also a friend told me that since my k62-400 says AFR it's not overclockable, That I have to an CTX to overclock any truth to this and if so where can I get the CTX.
