The 600EB Mhz/133Mhz CPU is mounted on a Asus SC370/133 cpu card with defualt set on switches. The BIOS software is selected on M/Bd. BIOS software settings are:-
cpu op freq 600(100)
cpu fsb clock 100
cpu multiplier 6
sel 100/66 signal DEfault
pci clock/cpu fsb clock 1/3
agp clock/cpu fsb clock 2/3
cpu core volts 1.65
i/o volts 3.3(default)
in order queue 8
level 2 cache latency default
spread spectrum mod disabled
My problem:- on boot the processor speed is stated to be 450Mhz no matter which software selection is made. Also any selections that can be suggested to maximise performance would be appreciated. Graphics card is 3dfx 3500 agp tv.
Thank you

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you state you have a 600EB, this should be run on a 133fsb at a multiplier of 4.5, the chip is multiplier locked at 4.5, and with your fsb at 100, you are only going to get 450. Make sure your cards can handle the fsb.
