I've got a SCSI Yamaha 4260 CD-RW and have never been thrilled with the included Adaptec software.
I recently saw the Sony software in use and liked how easily and reliably it got the job done. I was given a copy to try- it installed OK, but evidently you must have a Sony CD-r for it to recognize a CD-r is present.
Any thoughts on how to fool the software to work with the Yamaha?
