Last night in the middle of a movie my comp locks up. Sooo, I reboot and try to start the movie again. The bios is recognizing the drive correctly and my device manager says that there are no conflicts, but the DVD will not play. Audio, DVD and data disks cause the light to come on for a few seconds and then stop. With no affect. When I go to my DVD software it tells me that the drive contains "unsupported media". I have checked the cables (I will check them again).

Anyone have any ideas?
BTW: The green mile is a great movie, I just wish I could see the ending. Don't ruin it for me, hahaha.
