Helo,
I need to get two monitors work under Win NT or 2000 (each one to show different things). I 'm using a PC with an on-board G200 AGP but the board has no AGP slot. I tried with a PCI Savage4 Pro and the on-board G200 under Win 2000 without result. I also tried with two PCI Savage4 Pro under Win NT and 2000 but both OSs didn't recognise the second VGA. Here, in Greece, I could find nowhere the G400 DH PCI. I heard that it would work using two G200 PCI and the Matrox's software PowerDesktop under NT, but I couldn't find these cards in the market. Does anybody know a software that could make the two Savage4 Pro I 've bought work? Any other suggestions? Please, don't reply suggesting installing Win 9x. I know this could work but I' trying to avoid 9x.

I have done exactly what you are doing with NT4 and W2K.

Two solutions:

1) Use a PCI version of the G200 ( $30-$60, just make sure it has the identical ram amount the onboard has ). They both will work with the PowerDesk drivers.

2) Use an Appian Graphics dual/quad display adapter (PCI multi adapter cards...range from $300 to $800).

Thanks BBA. I just noticed that someone replied (thought the topic was forgotten). Anyway, the problem was that none of these cards are on the market any more (at least not in my country). I overpassed the problem buying new mobo and a G400 AGP Dual Head. Thanks anyway!
