HD install glitch

I recently installed a new Western Digital 10gig WD102BA hardrive, copied old contents(Quantum Fireball SE6.4a 6gig) to the new without a hitch. My problem is that Device Manager shows that the HD's virtual memory is running in the DOS Compatibility mode. This still after installing the latest drivers from WD. What do I now have to do to correct this, to get top performance.

Look in Device Manager and see if you've got yellow exclamation marks by your hard drive controllers. If so, try removing them in safe mode and rebooting. Hopefully windows will find and install them correctly.
