I get an error stimon has caused a gpf error, can i just delete stimon.exe or is there some other fix for that problem?

stimon.exe is for still image moniters like scanners video cameras etc, etc, if you delete it what ever is using will not work anymore
the file is probably corrupted try system file checker it will tell ytou if it's curropted and promt you to replace it

you can run scf from the run line in windows
start, run . in the box type sfc.exe
put your windows cd in your cd-rom and tell it yes to every thing if it finds a corrupted file http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
