Read what it says here (at the bottom): http://www.computerhope.com/unformat.htm . Basically it seems you are out of luck /forum/frown.gif. Maybe there is some sort of unformat tool in the Norton Utilities or something. Anybody know? socalgal 08-22-1999, 04:40 PM Viable? They have a download, but who's to say if it will really work? www.revival2000.com/ (http://www.revival2000.com/) A couple more on the Unformat: http://www.timeslips.com/answer/DOS6Q0K.HTM http://business.city.unisa.edu.au/tonyburnell/ITC_1997/LecturePages/Lecture%20No%203/DosCommandIndex/unformat.htm Good luck. The UNFORMAT command only worked on good ol' DOS because at the time of formatting you had the option of saving special unformat data to the disk. It is not possible to unformat a disk that doesn't have this data... yes, that means you. SysOpt.com
