Just got the HP 8250i Cd Writer installed on my PC. Now i want to create music cds by placing mp3s from my hard drive to the cds. However on the cd creating program, it looks for wav files. how can i change my mp3s to wave files.

I recently purchased one of these HP units from Office Depot. It came in the color black, which neither the box shows nor label states.

They claimed that "ALL" the 8250i models they had on sale where black only, what color is yours?

It may seem like a strange question but I'm thinking about taking it back, it's a matter of esthetics. My computer and components are beige; it just seems weird to have a non beige CD-RW.

Am I just being a freakazoid?

Like buitenb said.... you have to convert them back into wav files first or buy EZ CD creator 4.

I'll add some confusion to this.......

I have the HP 8200 series burner. I am running the software that came with it and the downloaded upgrade from HP's site. I am running version 3.5c of EZ CD-Creator and have zero problems. They burn as MP3 files.

Am I missing something in this post?
