Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me why when you go to explore c-drive (c-dos) has multiple drives with funny lines where the name should be. I tried to delete them, but no go. Any help will be appreciated. TIA /forum/smile.gif

Sounds like a disk error to me, but I cannot be sure.

I had a similar problem when I tried to install Win98SE w/ a Win98 (first ed) boot disk. The drives were unreadable (unlike yours hopefully) but with wierd characters in the Volume label.
