Hi,
Has anyone got any idea on how to extract these. Ii got one off a RedHat mirror - 650MB and I have no clue as to what to do next!
Thanks,
Brendan

Brendon,
All you need to do now with the ISO file is to open your cd burning software and choose "burn from ISO image" and then direct it to the redhat ISO file. bada bing bada boom!

Is it not possible to 'extract' it if I don't own a CD burner.
I previously downloaded the directory tree of RedHat, but something went wrong, and files kept getting corrupted, so that si why I went after the ISO, as others told me that it was better.
So, I don't want to cancel it.
I have a cousin with a cd burner, and could bring my hard disk to his computer, but extracting it here would be handier. /forum/wink.gif

I have never "extracted" a ISO file so I dont know if that can be done. I have created ISO files from a compulation of files so it would seem that you could "undo" a ISO compulation. I just have never do it /forum/frown.gif I will try and help find a definitive answer for you /forum/smile.gif

Hi,
Thanks. I hope you can find something. In the meantime I'll have a look around myself and see, but if it isn't possible, I'll pay a visit to my cousin with a hard disk and one 650MB ISO file as a present. /forum/wink.gif
BTW, this is RedHat 6.1.
