Death To Mel

I think insted of member and junior member stats this should be changed to trusted and untrusted. Every time a person says some thing that is true or doesn't try to ripe someone off they should get a better standing. A new forum could be opened up to list the standings of all the members. I votes could be taken amoung all the members as to where or not a "Untrusted meber should be give a better standing based on certain things that person does /forum/smile.gif How does this sound?

I think forgive and forget would be a better policy, the other sounds like a grudge match.

Yes, to the truthfulness angle!
SysOpt.Com could form a committee composed of elected users, who’s job would be to test the veracity of an individual’s post or a particular groups threads.
Members, both full fledged and junior, could be called forth into a live web cast hearing and required to validate the logical and or provide detailed evidence as to the genuineness of their respect post.
Those found to be of questionable repute could have a special mark placed next to their user name. This would not only help others easily identify these scurrilous miscreants but provide a warning to others of what happens to those who step outside the bounds of what the committee demeans correct and appropriate dissemination of information.
I agree we must root out the prevaricators who seek to undermine the integrity and wholesomeness of this board.
All one has to due is read some of the posts written within this BBS and realize that some people are expressing dangerous and radical thoughts.
Stop daring to be different, it will only making your integration into the New World Order that much more painful.

Perhaps said committee should bind each member and/or prospective member, cast them into a lake (or any suitable body of water), and watch the results. If the person floats, they are evil and cannot to be trusted, and therefore should be shot. If they drown, then we'll know that they were of the highest caliber, and we can lament their loss in this forum.
This is a tried and true method, handed down generation to generation since the Middle Ages.
Trust me on this... /forum/wink.gif
