How long before I go from a junior member to a member etc??

And what other statuses (sp?) can I expect to see??

Well your a bit over half way there....It takes 31 posts to become a "member" after that there is nothing at this time....We treat everyone the same wiether they are a "JR" or "SR" member.

So how do you know how many messages have been posted by an individual??

just click on the little face (just above where this is typed) with a ? mark next to it and it will show you how many posts a person has as well as anyother information they chose to share. /forum/biggrin.gif (to find out more about the bbs and how to make Smilely faces, click on the FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) at the top of the page.

Don't worry about being a junior member or just a member it means didly squat, there are juniors out there that can show us old timers the way to go, though I must admit you come across members like Mntsnow, 800XL, Cmonster, Socalgal, S**t I could go on and on who really know their systems and for that matter yours if you tell them its mobo and specs.
Just relax sit back and enjoy the BEST LITTLE BBS ON THE NET. these guys and gals really care about each other even when we make daffy replies, becuase you'l learn and so will we.

To D**m right they fuss like mother hens, but man you got to get on with it you just don't get enough time first time around, better to be a shooting star than a damp sqid, you get noticed, then you have to hide away when you don't want ( talking of my pet project of trying to get people to try and help schools out that can't or don't have computers.)

Cocopops: The site was created in 1994, and the first forum was started sometime in 1996 or 1997 I believe. But that software was scrapped in favor of the current UBB software in February 1999. Some of the regulars here probably remember the history better than I do /forum/wink.gif - time flies. But yeah, keep posting and you'll be a member in no time.

Yea, but then you'd have to have Senior Junior members, Junior Senior members, Senior Senior members, Originating members, New Millenium members . . . well, you get the picture.

But seriously this is a great site and I am proud to be recognised by it .
I have been helped out of a quite a few sticky situations by the willing and knowlagable people at this site .

This makes my twenty-sixth post; towards the milestone of thirty-one, required for the full fledge title of member.

I’m extremely confident that at my current pace I should reach the magic “member” mark by Monday.

However the weekend is upon us and my therapist insists that I actually turn off my workstation and leave the house, preferably when the sun is still shinning.

He suggested I go to the park, I just hope the playground equipment doesn’t interfere with my laptop’s wireless modem.
