I've got a jumper on my motherboard to switch my RAM from Host CLCK to CPU CLCK. What happens if I do this? Does my RAM attempt to run at my CPU's speed--and wouldn't this be REALLY bad?

Can't imagine what it means. Memory bus is FSB speed, and cpu is a multiplier of FSB.

i dont' think it will let your RAM will run at the CPU speeed, that will literally fry the RAM chips. I also doubt the RAM would run that fast, it is limited to what it's rating is, sometimes it'd go higher than it's supposed to, but not something like 500MHz or whatever. Doesn't that have to do with the +/- 33Mhz deal when running PC100 RAM on an EB Pentium III, or PC133 RAM on a Pentium III E CPU?
